We were out past the outskirts. Not too far, since we were going to ride back before sunset, but far enough away that training wouldn't be interrupted by locals.
I don't think these people were locals. They were in all black, and stank, and yeah, they had masks. They were really weird. White, and cracked, and strange eyes.
