[ There is no message or note, but at some point, Rinwell will step into the Horizon and find a familiar owl flying back to her domain from Geralt's. It's still wearing a peculiar wolf head piece from this year's Halloween party. ]

[ She does not know this person. She thinks? The name's vaguely familiar, though, so perhaps—

He's okay.
I don't know where he is, that's what we're trying to figure out, so whatever you can tell me will help.

Geralt-okay or regular person okay?

..Right. You did say that. Sorry.
What details do you already have? I can then add to that.

Considering the circumstances, I'm gonna say he's Geralt-okay. Could be worse.

Where were you two when it went down?
He mentioned something about people wearing masks.

That's still not good. But about what I could have hoped for.

We were out past the outskirts. Not too far, since we were going to ride back before sunset, but far enough away that training wouldn't be interrupted by locals.

I don't think these people were locals. They were in all black, and stank, and yeah, they had masks. They were really weird. White, and cracked, and strange eyes.

What did they smell like? Sulfur? Fish?

No. Just...Bad earth. Really rancid. And a weird herbal sort of scent. Not like the stuff you use in food, or sold at the city apothecaries.

Incense, maybe?
